        ทุก ๆ วันที่ 1 เมษายน ของทุก ๆ ปี ภาษาอังกฤษจะเรียกวันนี้ว่า April Fool's Day ซึ่งเรียกเป็นไทยว่า "วันเมษาหน้าโง่" (อ้างอิงจาก Wikipedia) ซึ่งไม่ใช่วันหยุดแต่อย่างใด แต่เป็นวันที่ยอมรับในหลายๆ ประเทศที่จะเล่นสนุกสนานด้วยการแกล้งหยอกด้วยมุขตลก ซึ่งส่วนมากก็จะเป็นการโกหกแกล้งให้คนอื่นได้ งงๆ กลายเป็นไอ้โง่ไปเลย (fool) ซึ่งวัน April Fool's Day นั้นก็มีประวัติอันเก่าแก่เช่นกัน ตั้งแต่เมื่อสมัย ค.ศ. 1582 มาแล้ว (400 กว่าปีแล้วนะเนี่ย) ประวัติและความเป็นมา จาก Wikipedia          ประเทศฝรั่งเศส  ในยุค ศตวรรษที่ 16  ตอนนั้นชาวฝรั่งเศสมี วันปีใหม่ ตรงกับวันที่  1 เมษายน  กระทั่งมาถึง  ค.ศ. 1582   สันตะปาปาเกรกอรีที่ 13  จึงกำหนดให้ ชาวคริสต์ ทั่วโลกฉลองวันปีใหม่พร้อมกันวันที่ 1 มกราคม  คราวนั้นสมัยก่อน ข่าวสารไม่ได้กระจายรวดเร็วเหมือนสมัยนี้ คนบ้านนอกของฝรั่งเศสบางกลุ่มยังไม่รู้ แถมบางคนได้ยินแล้วก็ยังไม่เชื่อ เลยฉลองวันปีใหม่กันวันที่ 1 เมษายน เหมือนเดิม ทำให้พวกไม่ตกยุคเย้ยหยันพวกตกยุคว่า  “หน้าโง่ ” แถมยังพยายามจะแกล้งหลอกคนกลุ่มนี้ โดยส่งข้อความไปหลอก หรือล่

The Buddha showed The Ovandapatimokkha to 1,250 Arhantas. Makha Bucha (or Magha Puja) is an important Buddhist festival celebrated on the full - moon day of the third lunar month, usually falls in February or March, which known in the Buddhist Pali language as ‘Makha’ . The ‘Bucha’ , also a Pali word, means ‘to venerate’ or ‘to honor’ . Therefore, Makha Bucha Day is for the veneration of Buddha and his teachings on the full-moon day of the third lunar month and an occasion when Buddhists tend to go to the temple to perform merit-making activities. Makha Bucha Day marks the 4 auspicious occasions, which happened on nine months, more than 2,500 years ago, after Enlightenment of the Buddha who showed ‘The Ovandapatimokkha’ at the largest assemble of monks in Buddhist, at Veluvana Bamboo Grove, near Rajgir in Northern India. The spiritual aims of the day are: not to commit any kind of sins; do only good; purify one’s mind.  

VISAKHA BUCHA Birth – Enlightenment- Passing away           Visakha Bucha Day is one of the most important days in Buddhism because of three important incidents in the life of The Buddha on the same day, the Vesak full moon day. So each year, Buddhists throughout the world gather together to perform the worship to recollect the wisdom, purity and compassion of the Buddha. The three significant separate events are The Buddha's birth at Lumbini Park   1.     The Buddha’s Birth ::    The Buddha was a king by birth, in Sakya Kingdom, eighty years before the Buddhist Era, at Lumbini Park (in an area of Nothern India know today as Nepal), on Friday, the Vesak full moon day. He was named Siddhattha five days after his birth. The Buddha's first teaching to The Panjavakkiya (The Group of Five Monks) after he attained the enlightenment.   2.     The Enlightenment of Buddha :: At the age of 35, he attained enlightenment while sitting under the Bodhi Uruvelas

            การดำหัวต่อผู้หลักผู้ใหญ่ในวิถีล้านนาที่ถูกต้อง เนื่องจากปัจจุบันเรานำวิถีของทางภาคกลางมาผสมผสานจนออกมากลืนกลินวิถีแห่งล้านนาอย่างผิดวิธีและหลักความเชื่อในแบบล้านนา              ก่อนอื่นก็ต้องรู้จักคำว่า "ดำหัว" กันเสียก่อน คำว่าดำหัวนั้นไม่ได้หมายถึงให้เอาหัวไปดำในน้ำ หรือรดน้ำให้หัวเปียกชุ่มเหมือนคนดำน้ำนะครับ !!! ความจริงแล้วคำว่า "ดำหัว" หมายถึง "สระผม" หรือ "พิธีแสดงความเคารพผู้มีอาวุโสหรือผู้มีบุญคุณ ในประเพณีสงกรานต์"   (อ้างจาก พจนานุกรมล้านนาไทยฉบับแม่ฟ้าหลวงหน้าที่ 444)  (ในพจนานุกรมฉบับราชบัณฑิตสถาน พ . ศ . 2542 หน้าที่ 405 ให้ความหมายว่า เป็นประเพณีทางภาคเหนือซึ่งกระทำในวันปีใหม่ เพื่อเป็นการแสดงความเคารพนับถือและรักใคร่ และยังอธิบายต่ออีกว่า วิธีดำหัวคือเอาสิ่งของและน้ำที่ใส่เครื่องหอมเช่นน้ำอบไทยไปให้แก่ผู้ที่ เคารพและขอให้ท่านรดน้ำใส่หัวของตนให้อยู่เย็นเป็นสุข)        ในพิธีการดำหัวของคนล้านนาก็ต้องตระเตรียม ขันสลุง (ขันเงิน) ภายในมี น้ำขมิ้นซอมป่อย (ส้มป่อย) และจะลอยด้วย ดอกไม้ ให้สวยงามก็สามารถทำได้ (ส
